Today you will revise Modal Verbs before you have the English Test of the unit.
We use modal verbs:
To give an order or express obligation you use MUST.
Now, open Travelers in your browser. We have already sent you the Travelers assignments. Deadline: You have only today to do them!!!

Today you will revise Modal Verbs before you have the English Test of the unit.
IMPORTANT!!! Don't try to do the tasks without reading and understanding the information, if you fail you WILL HAVE to repeat them.
We use modal verbs:
To give an order or express obligation you use MUST.
- You must stop at red lights.
- You mustn't make a noise in here.
- It may/might rain. You should take and umbrella.
- You should study for the exam.
- I may watch a movie tonight.
- It might rain later.
- They may come by car.
Remember MAY and COULD are more formal and polite.
- Can/May/Could I borrow your pen?
- Could I have a glass of water, please?
To request something, to offer help or for invitations: CAN (less polite) COULD-WOULD-SHALL
- Can/May/Shall I help you?
- Can/Could you take it?
- Would you like to come round tomorrow?
