Hello, class!


Today you will do a listening activity called Using colours to do homework.

Once you have the document ready, click on the link below. This link will redirect you to the British Council Teens webpage. This time you have to listen to the audio on the web. 

You have two possibilities like you can see in this picture: just click on the play botton or click on download and a new window will be on opened in your browser.

• Listening AUDIO: Using colours to do homework

Just follow these steps before you start the exercises.

1. You need to be concentrated and relaxed and please, try to be alone without any possible interruptions.

2. Remember: there are three stages on a listening activity.

PRE-LISTENING

Before you start listening to the recording, try yo predict what it is going to be about by reading and doing the first activity Preparation: matching and think of the vocabulary related to this topic you already know.


WHILE-LISTENING

You will listen to the audio two or three times. During the first time you need to get the main idea. Then, have a look at the rest of the exercises to know what you'll have to answer. 

During the second time you need to get specific information and answer the exercises.

During the third time you need to ckeck your answers and see if you understood everything well.

POST-LISTENING

After finishing all the activities you should look over the transcription of the audio and see the words or expressions you had trouble understanding.
