Thursday, 2nd April. Easter Holidays.


Good afternoon everyone!

 We hope you enjoy this holiday break, we need to rest to start again in two weeks.

 We are not going to send you homework, these days:
  • Have fun, you choose how!
  • Enjoy family time
  • Read a book (in English too)
  • Exercise to stay fit
  • Learn a new skill (something cool you wanted to learn...)
  • Develop health habits
  • Play, play and play!!
  • Watch movies
And because there is time for everything, we will leave here in the blog optional activities for those students that want to work during these days.

 And remember this:See you the 14th of April.

 If you need something, you know where we are 😉

Monday, 20th April - English: First Conditional

Hi, everyone!! Today we are starting a new item of English grammar called  First Conditional . You need your  English book  and also, open  Travelers  in your browser. We have already sent you the Travelers assignment that belongs to the two pages of this unit about  First Conditional. Go to page 158.  If you can use Travelers, first listen to the audio of the page. Then, read aloud the whole page and try to understand the structure. After this,  go to page 159  and do exercises 5, 6 and 7. If you don't understand any new word of these pages you can search for them on the web Cambridge dictionary: Cambridge Dictionary Finally, we would like you to continue these questions about yourself using the First Conditional   in the comments below : What will happen if you don't clean up your room? Where will you go if you have enough money to travel? What will you do if you win the lottery? We are looking forward to reading all your comments :)

Hello children!! Some of you told us that you didn't understand very well energy transformation. To help you, the teacher Bárbara has recorded a video from her kitchen to show you how electrical energy is transformed into other types of energy  in some appliances (ceramic cooktop or television). Now, it is your turn!! Hello everyone! Today we start the last unit of English: Unit 9 "Manners" Do you know the meaning of this word? According to the Cambridge Dictionary: Manners : ways of behaving toward people, especially ways that are socially correct and show respect for their comforts and their feelings. There are good and bad manners... 1) First, you need your English book: Go to page 174. Read and understand the whole page. Then, leave a comment below: let us know one example of bad manners and one of good manners you had read in this page. Go to page 175. Do the exercises 1, 2 and 3. 2) When you finish these two pages, you need to go to Travelers and do the assignments planned for today. IMPORTANT : check the deadline of the assignments in Travelers. 3) Finally, leave a comment below to tell us what examples of good manners you found interesting, after reading page 174. **Remember: leaving a comment is one of your tasks, do it please!
