Hi, everyone!!
Today we are having a listening session. You need your English book and also, open Travelers in your browser. We have already sent you the Travelers assignment that belongs to the two pages of this unit about Listening.
- Go to page 166. Do exercise 16. As always you need to read the heading of the exercise carefully and every sentence carefully. Then, listen to the recording. Do exercise 17. Read the text carefully and try to guess what the possible answers are. Then, listen to the audio.
- After this, go to page 167 and do exercise 18. This exercise is composed by multiple choice answers, so read all of them before you start listening.
- If you don't understand any new word of these pages you can search for them on the web Cambridge dictionary:
Finally, we would like you to continue these questions about yourself using I would like to go or I would rather go... (be careful because the verb rather (synomym of prefer) isn’t followed by to with this expression):
- Would you rather go to a concert or watch a movie at home?
- Do you think that going to a concert it is expensive?
